PI 7.0 installation: SAPInst question

Former Member

Hi guys,

I have a question regarding SAPInst.

I am attempting to install a new NetWeaver 7.0 PI (Abap and Java) central system (Windows 32 on Oracle).

At page 81 of the Installation guide for NetWeaver 7.0 it says that at the SAPinst Welcome screen I should be able to select between the following 2 installation options:

- SAP Systems

- Software Life-Cycle Options

However what I see is:

SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Support Release 3

- Standalone Engines

- Optional Standalone Units

- Software Life-Cycle Options

Can anybody tell me what path/feature I should select for a full PI installation? Where do I find the "SAP Systems" described in the Installation Guide?

Many thanks,

Brodo

Juan, I think you may be right... I have tried the SR2 version and I have the option I need in there. However, could you help me find something to confirm this in the documentation? Where did you read this?

Many thanks,

Brodo
