SAP MDM - CRM Integration

Dear Experts,

I am supposed to be starting a scenario on SAP MDM - CRM Integration through XI.

If anyone has done it , then kindly let me know what are the configurations required for it.

Also, in what form does CRM accept data? Only BDocs or IDocs too?

Hi Shweta,

To integrate CRM with MDM using XI you need ABAP proxies to be written on CRM side. The reason behind this is as CRM talks in terms of BDoCs and on other hand XI does not understand BDoCs. So ABAP proxies is one way to integrate. A long time back i did it using ABAP proxies.

There are not much direct material available which explains MDM's integration with CRM.

However i could find some helpful links in sdn that discusses the basic need and steps to integrate CRM with MDM.
