SAP vs NAT enabled customer networks

Former Member

Hi,

We're currently planning to have NAT enabled customer networks connect to our centrally hosted SAP systems(private IP range). Anyone in the forum that has any negative experiences with this kind of setup?

Have done some searchs on service.sap.com and sdn but no "hits" so far.

Logon towards the SAP system should be ok with the correct routing.

But is there any problems with ex.:

Print from the centrally hosted SAP system -> Customer NAT network?

RFC from the centrally hosted SAP system -> Customer NAT network?

DB links from the centrally hosted SAP system -> Customer NAT network?

Other potensial problems?

Will correct routing fix this?

Best Regards Rikard

Correct routing will take care of everything, no issues expected.

This may be a reason why there are no hits for your question.
