getting space between lines in smartform when using addr number ?

Hi,

Iam using the address number to print customer address in smartforms , but the problem is when name2 or name3 is initial , iam getting a space between lines.....i tried using text elements and tried

no of lines to be used ? can anyone solve my problem ?

Check the condition in Text elements(if name2 ne initial).

You can also use the FM: ADDRESS_INTO_PRINTFORM, and display the address.

use Address node and pass the address number, if you have no data for some fileds it will dispaly without sapces.. and its very easy to use....

iam just assigned &W_ADRNR& this field in address number ? what else should i do to avoid blank lines ?

you can use : Output Starts with Paragraph

Fixed Language for Country Indicator : &CONTROL_PARAMETERS-LANGU&

in condition tab use &W_ADRNR& NE initial.

select USE PO BOX or USE STREET which format you need...

Hi,

Instead of using ADDRESS node, try to extract the required fields into a structure for the ADRNR and display the fields in TEXT node and have a check if the structure fields is not initial. This will avoid printing blank spaces.
