Hello All,
I have created and job and it has two steps. Both the steps run with 'BATCHJOB' userid.
As I have created the job show my name in the creator in SM37.
Now the problem is my client don't want the my user id (personal user ids) in the SM37as a creator.
BATCHJOB is not a dialog user.
Please help......
Regard
Bhalchandra Sarang..
Hello Bhalchandra,
Use dialog user to schedule background job may cause the problem when dialog user account locked by mistake (eg. multiple log-on with wrong password) then the job will be failed. Hence, normally the non-dialog user account with job scheduling authorization will be used to schedule job steps.
If you still concern about the normal end-user id can not be shown within tx-SM37 list then you may need to think about 3rd party job scheduling tools or the solution like Redwood (SAP central job scheduling solution) then the user-id shown in tx-SM37 list will be the service user account (customizable) other than end user id.
But again, if the normal end-user account not shown then that may lost the tracking information who scheduled job initially. Pls consider the side effects with that...
Hope above helps.
