Service Desk: Different Number Ranges used from different satellite

Hello,

I've got an interesting one here. When I create a Service Desk message from within my PI 7.1 and BI 7.0 systems the message on SolMan gets numbers in 0000000XXX range (e.g. 101, 102, 103) etc. However messages created in my ECC system get numbers in the range 99990000XX as shown below:

102 SLFN Support Message Test from PI 7.1

103 SLFN Support Message Test from BI 7.0

9999000044 SLFN Support Message Test from ECC 6.0

The CRM_SERVIC number range is:

01 0000000001 0000999999 110

02 9999000000 9999999999 External

So you can see that messages from BI & PI end up with the internal CRM_SERVIC number range on SolMan and messages from ECC get the number transferred from the ABA notification via the external number range.

This same thing happens consistently from the Dev, QA & Prod satellite systems and pointing at either the SolMan Dev or SolMan Prod system. I have been trying to find something in the iBase or any kind of config that would be different. The BACK destinations look the same both in BCOS_CUST and SM59.

Has anyone seen this before? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you all.

HI

in one of your systems sap note 1133242 is installed (via SP) and in the other system it isn't.

With this note a CRM message will be created (with the internal number range)
