'Could not start layout designer

Hi Friends,

I am new to Adobe forms. When i try to open the lay out tab I am getting error message

'Could not start layout designer'.

I have done below settings

1. Checked ADS by executing program FP_PDF_TEST_00 it is fine

2. Installed ADLC 8.2

3. Adobe reader 9 is installed.

What else should I do in order to design the layout.

Hi -

Refer following notes for installing the correct version of the ADLC:

1121176 - Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.0 - Installation

1176858 - Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.1 - Installation

1253121 - Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.0 - Patch

Designer version downloaded depends on the installed SAP GUI's version and patch level. And download it from the [SAP service marketplace|https://websmp206.sap-ag.de/~SAPIDP/002006825000000234912001E].

I installed ADLC from Adobe site. I will reinstall from Sap market place and update this thread
