Unilateral Tolerance

Hi All,

I have a problem in setting the tolerance in the form of unilateral tolerance in MIC.

ex i have specification of 20 -0.25,-0.15 here the values would be 19.75 and 19.85.

and for +ve side say 135 +0.1,0.3 here the values would be 135.1 and 135.3

can any body pl suggest how to set such unilateral tolerance.

Hi Anil

From the examples you have given tolerance for characteristic is not unilateral. You can treate this as bi lateral with LSL as lower value and USL as Upper value. Unilateral tolerance is something like. length is greater than 30. Only one limit and other end is open.

Meanwhile my problem has been solved.

i have used for lower side limts as activated indicators check target value and plaus limit and find its working fine.

and did the same for upper side tolerance.
