Forwarding Agent & Carrier on shipment document

Hi All,

Thank you for going through my questions.

My requirement is:

We have one forwarding Agent, five carriers attaching to this forwarding agent

The carrier is shipping the material to forwarding agent at sea port, then the forwarding agent will ship these material to overseas.

The forwarding agent and carriers are defined as partner in our system, what we are required is:

When I create shipment document, input the forwarding agent, pop up the carrier list, let user choose the carrier, like entering sold-to party during sales order creation, pop up the ship-to party list.

I define five carriers as vendor, partner function is ZC, and assign the carriers to the forwarding agent(Partner Function CR) master data, but don't pop up the carrier list during creating shipment.

Does anybody has the knowledge to fullfill this requirement?

Hi,

This is not standard solution.

I would suggest to implement the code for the popup and filling Vendor data at shipment when status 'planned' is assigned to the shipment.

This can be done in user exit 'EXIT_SAPLV56F_011'.
