Filesystem getting full

Hello,

The files in - /usr/sap/DPB/JC00/j2ee/cluster/server0/log/archive

are constantly growing.

How do I stop the archive function for these logs? Please help.

Can I delete these files? What would be the repercussions of the deletion?

hi,

please check the archive folder. All old logfiles will be zipped and moved to the archive folder. I think it is no problem to delete the content of the archive folder.

If you want to stop the j2ee engine to archive your logfiles you have to perform the following steps:

Open the Visual Administrator and select

Global Configuration u2013 Server u2013 Services u2013 Log Configurator

You have to set the value ArchiveOldLogfiles to OFF and then you have to restart the Cluster.
