Clarification regarding External number range.

ABC01-000001 TO ABC99-500999

I am trying to create the Appropriate Request for ABC09-500110 ranga It has to restrict but it is allowing.

Please give me suggestions on External number range

your mentioned number will come under the range of ABC01-000001 TO ABC99-500999,

so sytem will not give any error message.

Thanks for your reply, In external number range Special chars are also allowed.

yes special characters are allowed , check your number range you have specified ABC09-500110 which comes in between the ranges you have specified .hence system allows you to create the same.kindly check

Number ABC09 comes under ABC01-ABC99 hence system will not restrict ,try to create ABC99-501000 system will restrict the same.
