Dear Friends,

Though I have created customer master System throws an error msg when I created a SO as "ship to party not defined for sales area".......how to proceed?.....help me out.......thanks in advance

Dear Saravanakkumar,

If, things are perfect within Customer Master (i.e. XD02); just check with the Material-Master.

As per me, your Material-Master is having a different "Division" than the one, in which, you are creating the booking.

Please check with T. Code: MM02.

Dear Saravanakkumar

While creating sale order, after giving the order type, you would have given some sales area (Sales Org, Dis.Channel and Division). Ensure that in the same sales area only, the ship to party is created.

To check this, go to XD02, input the customer code and click on "Customer's sales areas", so that system will show in which sales area, the ship to party has been created.

This should be the same as what you have given in the sales order.

Also ensure that in the sold to party of customer master, this ship to party is assigned.
