RFC - Internal connections

Hello All,

In transacition SM59 we can see INTERNAL CONNECTIONS FOLDER.

With in this we can observe BACK, NONE, NONE_NU and the last 1 will be the same APPLICATION SERVER NAME.

If we see into the configuration of NONE and NONE_NU we dont see any GATEWAY HOST or TARGET HOST specified, but still when we click on CONNECTION TEST it will be successful.

HOW DOES THIS WORK, with out specifying any information about target system,.

please explain or provide any docs or links where i can find answer.
