Credit Note

We have raised credit note. This document is not posted to FI. When checked up in the item detail of billing document under price data that statistical value is 'X-No cumulation values - Values cannot be used statistically. In some documents we find this statistical value is 'system will copy item to Header Total' and this type of document is posted. What could be the problem for not posting to FI. How to resolve this.

Check any changes has been done in the document.

Except the statistical value in the billing document nothing is changed. But this field cannot be changed while creating the billing document. How this has happenned. There is a control data in the material master where the chapter id is maintained. For this material, chapter id is not available. . Is this could be a reason for the change in the billing document.

Dear Sahana

Go to IMG Path -- SD --> Basic Functions --> Pricing --> Pricing Control --> Define Pricing By Item Category --> Activate pricing for item categories. There check you have maintained "X" for your item category under the tab "Statistical".

Please note in normal circumstances, here for your item category TAN, under the tab "Pricing", X should be maintained and for returns, under the tab "Statistical value", X should be maintained.

Tks for your reply. I have ensured all as per your message. This problem is found only on few documents.

I am finding the Net value and tax in the condition record at the item level is posted but in the billing document overview Net Value and cost is displayed as 0. Why is this ?

This is for one particular document only. Do we need to check anything at the material master
