Installing SAP on an already running Oracle server

Hi

I'm new in the SAP world. I want to install SAp on an existing Oracle server. I read that i can install it on different oracle_home but i want to install it on an already existing oracle_home and create a new database for SAP. Is it possible and where can i find the documentation for that.

not a good idea. the other ORACLE_HOME was probably installed with Oracle default and SAP usually expect this to be D:\oracle\SID\102 or similar.

and... SAP releases patches for Oracle specifically for their platform.
