intial stock posting MB1C - a big challenge

hi gurus

"Period 012/2008 is not open to account type S and Gl account 800000".This my error message

i have done all configurations starting from,

converting periods from 10/2002 to 12 2008,

assign company code to variants to 0001,

done alterations in OB52,

changed my periods to company code in OMSY.

done all my configurations in my OMWB.

assigned fiscal year variants.K4 to company code.

please any one of u can help me on this issue,iam working in IDES.

plz reply with valid replies,not on routine procedures.

Are you trying to create stock for some testing in APO?

You can use /SAPAPO/CTMTESTDATACREATE program and mention the vers, prod, loc, category and create button and qty and date.

this program is only for testing purposes.

Another program /sapapo/sjktst02 can be used for creating stock only in inactive version
