Hello,

You should consider the swap size of 12 GB (3times*main memory).

For virtual memory you should use a disk which is not actively used, so the disk which is used for log archive or for storing datafile or sap applications are not recommended.

Is the space are coming from RAID5 or mirroring ?

If its a 64 bit unix machine then you should go for 20 GB swap.

Hello,

You can allocate 4 GB for Data Drive, 16 GB for Application Drive and 4 GB for Log. It's not mandatory to allocate Virtual Memory for Data and Log.
