error found at the time of installation

Hi,

iam going to install SAPBI.

iam getting the following error.

An error occurred while processing service SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Support Release 3 > SAP Systems > Oracle > Central System > Central System( Last error reported by the step :Assertion failed: OraSqlContext constructor: arguments dbSidOrSrcObject and dbHome are not valid.). You may now

choose Retry to repeat the current step.

choose View Log to get more information about the error.

stop the task and continue with it later.

Log files are written to C:\Program Files/sapinst_instdir/NW04S/SYSTEM/ORA/CENTRAL/AS.

Hi krushna,

Check logfile sapinst.log for more error information.

I think you have not set the ORACLE_HOME variable for the installation user or the environment variable set is a wrong one.Correc it and restart the installation.

Hi,

Pls check the following

1. Java Home

2. Oracle home

3. Whether the isntallation files are corrupted

4. Whether oracle database is up and running

try to stop your installation and then restart the server then continue with the installation again.
