PS text problem with MS Office 2007

Hi Everyone,

I am not able to open any Doc. format , which I had created for WBS.

My obsrvation is like, I could open doc. format where MS Office 2003 is installed in the pc , whereas i am not able to open any doc. format where MS Office 2007 is installed.

Please suggest some solution.

Hi this is just my observation.

Normally when MS office 2007 is intalled in our system & we download any MS 2003 file from net/ email it will not opne in system. In this case we normally install converter pack in system so, we are able to open MS 2003 file in MS 2007 installed system.

I am no sure but pleae try this once. You can downlaod free/ compitable converter from net. Take input from your BASIS TEAM.

Hi,

I had discussed this issue with our BASIS team. What they suggested is that for SAP release 710 , patch level 6 is required which is compatable for MS office 2007. We are having patch level 5 here.

I hope this might work with higher patch level of SAP.

Hi,

chk the bellow method , it may help.

1- Download the *.doc file from the system and convert it to *.zip byjust renaming that file wth zip extension.

2- Now try to open the in ur ms office.

There are some limitation with Office 2007 and SAP Office Integration.
