from what you have stated the process should be for customer project
1) you get a query from a customer to say supply a turbine
2) create an inquiry document is SD
3) Create a project using templates
4) plan dates using network scheduling
5) plan capacity, distribute work, plan external services as required
6) Plan materials using BOM transfer
7) cost planning with network costing
😎 create sales pricing data, quotation and revenue - once order is received after inquiry
9) create a sales order in SD
10) enter confirmations - can use CATS
11) purchase material and services - may have inhouse production for some materials and can also use project stock functionality
12)post revenues using milestone billing
12a) You can deliver form PS if required instead of SD
13) overheads, RA, settle to Pseg can also be done
the PS process will integrate with MM PP CATS FICO SD
