Question on how to caculate throughput for an interface

Hello,

I'm in the process of calculating our daily PI throughput for SAP. We are contracted for a certain number and we need to check where we stand now.

Do you what SAP means when they say they want our throughput.

I know XI persists data at various stages in a normal interface cycle. Is it an aggregate of that various payloads or just the payload size we wish to send or receive.

The number changes dramatically with either option.

Thanks,

Pam

Hi,

SAPS stands for SAP APPLICATION PERFORMANCE STANDARDS and is defined as a hardware independent CPU performance unit devised to describe the throughput power of a server.

Check the blogs for more details

Thanks!

Hi

Go to RWB -> Performace monitoring

Try to get the message with sizes and time line. You can download this as well.

Moreover you can try with Solution manager as well.

Quicksizer is another tool that can help you gather statistics for the system you have

Thanks

I think, throughput means number of messages processed in a given time. Payload size might not come into picture in this case.
