Dear Sirs,
I am trying to install SAP NW 7.0 SR3 - Oracle - Distributed System - on Windows 2003 Server. I had no problems installing SCS and DB Instance. But, I can't pass through the step 15 (Install Software Units).

Hi,
Are you using what version of JDK? Same Classloading problems may occurs when the SUN-SAP JDK , you can try 1.4.2_17 ou 1.4.2_13.
If you have a S-user, I suggest to open a support ticket to get a response quickly.

Hi, Isaías! Hi, Sergo!
You were right. I have installed the referred JDK (j2sdk1.4.2_17-x64) and the installation has finished successfully.
Thank you very much!

Hi Isaías,
Thank you very much.
It's x64, but I couldn't find SAPSite at java.sun.com.
I guess now we have the right version to proceed.
Thank you again!

Taciana

Hi,
In my case i'm using a AMD processor, have you tried to install this JDK of this site on Intel (http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/SAPsite/download.html)?
After use it we can install the EP and DI Usage Type on our 2004 S.
Whats your architecture? IA64 or x64? Have a version to IA64 (j2sdk-1_4_2_10-windows-ia64)

Hi Isaias,
I have downloaded jdk1.4.2_17, but 32 bits and the installation of Central Instance couldn't proceed because it wasn't 64 bits.
I have looked for jdk1.4.2_17 - 64 bits for Windows (intel) at Sun site, but I think it is not available.
Do you have any idea how I can get it?
Thank you!

Taciana

Hi Cristiano,
Thank you for your answer.
We are using j2sdk1.4.2_18-x64. Do you think this version can have this kind of problem? I will try j2sdk1.4.2_17 anyway.
Also, I have opened a message at SAP Support Portal, but it haven´t been answered yet.
As soon as I finish the installation with j2sdk1.4.2_17, I will let you know.
Regards,
Taciana
