Hi gurus,

When i go to assign sale order type to sales area ->New entry.The following error appear.

Define <1000/10/00> first as a general sales area!

Pls help me

Hi

This issue has been discussed several times

T code OVAO combine sales orgs in this against 1000 give ref sales org as 1000

T code OVAM combine Dist channels in this against 10 give ref dist channel as 10

T code OVAN combine Divisions in this against 00 give Ref div as 00

T code OVAZ assign permitted doc types to sales areas in this enter the sales area 1000,10,00 against all doc types you want to use

All these if you do this error will not be there

Also VOR1 and VOR2 define common distribution channels and common divisions

This also you check for the smooth process of orders

Solution has been found.

SAP has a bug here..Even before there are required assignments in OVAO, OVAN , OVAM

you should use a trick of changing and assigning them again, and by this way system understands the assignment and does not release an error..

But this is a bug, because assignments were already there and I should not have use a trick like this..

Dear Muruga,

Probable work-around has been suggested, but users haven't updated the status, whether their issue get resolved or not.

So, difficult to say, what would be the exact soluion.

However, look in to following thread and check/ test the same; if issue gets resolved, Please confirm, else update, so that a thought could be given, here on-wards.
