hai,
I am creating delivery for 100 qtty. where as my packing material is allowed upto 10 qtty only.
Where i entered for 100 qtty, packing qtty shows 1, instead it should take 10.
.
Customer should not do it manually at the time of delivery. it should automatically determine at time of sale order creation.
ANy specific Customizing need to be done?
I read previous threads, in which i read for packing instructions n packing determination.
But in such case, how system finds which materail should pack into which packing materials?
Hi,
Generally packing materials are determined in delivery document.
So if you want to do it automatically then in 0OLK select your delivery document type and click automatic packing.
Now it will give proposal for packing. It wont automatically pack material end user have to pack the material.
Just try out this one it might help you out.

Raj.

Hey Raj,
Thanks for ur reply-
plz go through my actual req once again.
I have done all the packing customizing & working fine.
But, When am issuing "100 units" , packing qtty should be "10"-
because my packing BOX can have max 10 units only.
each box will have max 10 units, Now system has to created packing boxes by dividing with the Delivery qtty such as Del.qtty / box max limit = no.of boxes
eg: no.of boxes = del qtty / allowed units(weight) in box
hope u its clear nw

Hi..
You can control packaing matrial based on volume.
Check whether you can define packing material limit.
Also have a look at packing proposal in extras (Sales Order)
