Activating Subscription and Personalization in Alert Inbox

Hi mates,

I am trying to activate subscription and personalization options in Alert Inbox but when i click on their links, the following error is thrown:

Business Server Page (BSP) error

SAP Note

The following error text was processed in the system:

BSP exception: Application sap/alertsubscription cannot be started. Create an application node using Transaction SICF.

Unfortunately, these two services dont exist in SICF, do i have to create them (and how)?

Then, how can i configure them?

I am on PI 7.0 SP15

I finally solved the problem by applying the sap note i mentioned in my last post!

Hi David,

I faced the same problem some time ago and I remember I solved the problem wihtout creating

any service ICF.

Let me know what SAP note are you refering to see if I remember what I did.

Hi Carlos,

The SAP Note you mention is a part of the SAP message i get, not a SAP note....

Hope you remember the steps you performed.
