can we restore master table without backup.

Hi Experts,

I have lost all the material (MARA). it dont have any backup. can we restore the table to the initial position. This is a testing server and we need only the basic materials which are provided by the sap .

I m a technical person, so please explain if possible.

Hi Asish,

As you said you don't have any backup and you lost the table MARA. Now you want to restore it in it's position.

The only posibility is, your database must be in archive log mode if it is Oracle DB.

you can check archive log enable or not in the following command,

SQL> Archive log list

yes it is enable.

but these archive files are also deleted by some one.

is there any other probebiliti to restore.... ?

you lost your system

re-install from scratch is your only option.

now, you learned a hard lesson. backups are important.
