Hi all,
I was trying to a documentation for sometime on using MOPZ. i entered a problem which i didn't before. I am new to solution manager and i realized that all my solution landscapes were done wrong. I deleted all the landscapes and i only created 2, one for ERP and HR landscape and each each one i included their respective development, UAT and other test SAP systems. When using MOPZ to find the OS/DB dependant files it displays the message:
Error Request data does not contain product version information
This is from mesage class /TMWFLOW/MO_BACKEND101
I have selected all the previous stack levels to see if it would display files but it doesn't. Could it be that solMan knows my Kernel level and Support pack stack of the target SAP system and it won't display the files i already have?
Can anyone put any light on this?
Thanks,
Mani
Sorry i managed to answer this question myself.
Solution:
I went in smsy, into the landscape of interest.
Double click each system assigned in the landscape.
click Read System Number. This will also fill in other information like system type etc.
It's a shame i can't reward myself any points
Hope it helps others.
Mani

Or does this have anything to do with the fact that i have multiple systems under one solution landscape and no system is assigned as a leading role?
I am not sure so i am just trying to list possibilities as to why i can't see any files in MOPZ. it seems a landscape where there is a single system can have selected files and it even recommends a SPAM/SAINT update.
