Number range for Serial Number profile

Hi All

I am learning serial number management.

I have created a serial no.profile and assigned it to Material. To generate serial numbers in business transactions, where to define number range and assign?

Could you please help in this regard

As of the internal number, There is no number range configuration setting can be done on material serial number range. SAP system will assign the new

material serial number automatically based on table 'MASE' if there is

no external number assigned.
