ABC Class

Hi,

In Customer Master ,Sales Tab we have one field "ABC Class"....what is the Functionality of this fiels.....and moreover ....is this for Indian Customer ?

Dear Venky,

As far, I know, this is for ABC - Analysis:

The ABC Classification is used to classifyObjects (say, Customers, Products or Employees), based on a particular measure (Say, Revenue or Profit).

For example, you can classify your customers into three classes A, B and C according to the sales revenue they generate.Also, you can find out whether A customers have a preference for certain material groups and whether your promotions are reaching the desired target groups.

This ABC Analysis, is generally used by Accounts-Personnel for various purposes.
