Hi Experts,

Scenario : IDOC to File

Source Parent is not mapped with Target Parent structure, but the child of source is mapped to Target's child. Because, the Target Parent is already mapped with some other source Parent.

In this case, can I get the proper value in the target side?

It depends on your occurance, in case 0..unbound

Your one of Source Parent in whole hierarchy should be mapped with target node.

Hi,

1..1 nodes need not be mapped if their child elements are mapped. Since in such a case, child nodes are there parent nodes are bound to get created.

Hi,

If occurrrence of your target message is 1.1 then no need to map the root node of target structure. Your target message will get generated properly as per your mapping logic.
