Access Request authentication to LDAP fails

We are on SAP GRC 5.2 and are just in the process of configuring AE. We are trying to use Microsoft AD authentication for Access Request.

As a part of this we have configure the LDAP connector and the connection test is successful, but when we try to login to the Access Request using our LDAP user id and password it fails.

Is there something that we are missing here, please let know if anyone has enocountered a similar situation.

Also, please share where can we at the AE logs, is it in the Log viewer or directly at the OS level.

Have you configure LDAP mapping??? and have you configure the authentification with LDAP connector??

If you can public the screen shot of this two configurations!

Hi,

No, we have not configured LDAP Mapping yet, as I have shared we have just started the Configuration for Access Enforcer. Yes, we have thought that LDAP mapping is something that we were missing.

Now, we have defined a SAP system as the Authentication system and it works as expected.

Can you please elaborate on LDAP Mapping on how to configure it and how it will be used.

Name*

Short Description*

Description

Server Name*

Domain* Ex:Server.local

Port*

User Principal Name* Ex:Domain\User Or User@Domain

Password*

User Path : Not Required

Group Path : Not Required

LDAP Type -Select- Active Directory

Password Encryption -None- Not Required

Connector Category -Select- Production Non-Production
