Locking capability for DP analyst and for USERS

Hi Gurus,

Can any one explain me how the below locks works when 3 or 4 users are in different planning book and using same key figures?

My question is

1. If 2 or 3 users are using same keyfigures and in different planning books what are below locks we need to activate so that they wont be locked during consensus adjustments?

Locking capability is available at following levels:

Aggregate lock

Detailed lock

Live cache lock

Key-figure specific lock

Hi Raj,

In DP the locking is by CVC. The system does not allow you change the same Keyfigure for the same CVC in two different books simultaneously.
