AS400 to SAP (Performance issue)

Hi,

We have scenarios with sender AS400 database system and the receiver is SAP.

We have more than 6 intefaces from AS400 to SAP. Initial develpment was completed and the testing was done with success.

When the integration test get started, the issues got started.

Suddenly the communication channel has not been able to pick the data from AS400 database. We refreshed cache, we have changed the Advanced settings to all modes. But, none of our approach is successful.

Then we copied the same communication channel to new one and configured this in the sender agreement. Miracle, the communication channel started to pick the data from AS400. Then we have done the same for all the interfaces and all are interfaces are running. But after weekend again the communication channels become IDLE and stopped to pick the data, even though the data is there in AS400.

In communication channel monitoring, the flags are green.

Again we copied to new ones and configured in the sender agreement. The communication channels started to pick the data. We could not know whats happening when XI tried to pick the data from AS400. The intefaces from the SQL server database are working fine.

What should we do inorder to function these communication channels to pick the data from AS400 properly.

Please post your views on this. This is becomig critical to us.

The problem seems to be with the adapter engine. check with your basis team for CPA cache refresh and try to do a full cache refresh. also check the channel statuses in RWB and also the clusters for the channels.

This seems to be an abnormal issue with respect to PI.

Hi

Did you checked the logs with SLG1 and visual admin. Whats the issue it shows behind the adapter not picking the data.

Moreover is it getting stuck in queues did you verified with SMQ1, SMQ2
