In our implementation, line items for some item categories in sales order are not editable once it has been created. Where is this configuration done and is it possible to only allow editing of say goods issue date and nothing else?
Can you confirm, are you using Standard Transaction for Sales Order Creation, or Any Screen Variant has been created for Transaction VA01 in T. Code: SHD0?
Go to transaction variant SHDO and then give the t.code VA01 and then give the business objects as BUS2032 etc and there check wheather the item category field is in display mode or change mode and then change as per your requirement. But standard transaction variant is correct except if any enhancements are there in your transaction variant screen VA01
For clarification, what is happening is when we put in a line item that has sales bom, the parent fields are all editable abut the children which have a specific item category are all undeditable, where would i see this logic?
