Triggering IDOC successfully from R/3 but cant see in XI

Former Member

Hi all,

This is regarding IDOC to File XI scenerio. I am able to trigger IDOC MATMAS from SAP R/3 using trxn BD10. The idoc status in WE05 is 3 which is succussfull. Now I cant see anything in SXI_MONITO in XI system. Please help..

What I have done till now;

SAP R/3 System:

1. Created Logical systems for sender R/3 and receiver XI.

2. Assigned Client to Sender system.

3. Created RFC destination for XI system and tested the connection well.

4. Created Port.

5. Created Model View and generated Partner Profiles successfully and also Distributed the model view. I can see the model view created in XI system.

6. I have assigned the logical system in the Business system also.

XI system:

1. Created RFC destination with SM59.

2. Created Port with IDX1.

But now when I trigger IDOC from R/3, I cant see the IDOC reached in XI system with transaction WE05 and I cant see any status in SXI_MONITOR or SXMB_MONI trxns. Please let me know if I forget any step.

Regards

Sanjeev Sharma.

Hi.. I am getting error '::000' in SM58 in R/3 box after triggering IDOC MATMAS with BD10. What this message means.

This usually happens when the user used to post the idoc from SAP system to XI does not have sufficient authorizations. Check sm59 at R/3 for RFC destination of XI. You will get the required authorizations details in SAP Note 837595.

Guys..

I asked the basis guy to give me authorization as per note: 837595. He did it and afte that I checked;

R/3 BOX:

1. Tcode SM59

2. Selected RFC Destination.

3. Utilities>Test>Authorization Test

Now I can see the same screen which comes after CONNECTION TEST, with below data;

Logon 62 msec

Transfer of 0 KB 3 msec

Transfer of 10 KB 2 msec

Transfer of 20 KB 4 msec

Transfer of 30 KB 4 msec

XI BOX;

1. Tcode SM59

2. Selected RFC destination

3. Test-->Authorization

Now I can see the following;

Connection test LS_5001_XI

Connection type: R/3 connection

Cancel Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)

What else I have to do. Please advise ;

Hi,

Now check the tr code sm58, what error you are getting there?

And also make sure that your user id is not locked.

Try deleting metadata in transaction IDX2 of XI for corresponding IDoc,

Then trigger the IDoc again...

When I try to create Metadata in IDX2 I get message 'I::000'. What this message is for.

Hi Sanjeev,

Probably your port in IDX1 is not well set up.

Check the RFC you use in your port.

Is this RFC an ABAP connection (type 3) RFC. Check the conecction.

What user are you use in that RFC? Is this locked in your target system?

Hi,

I deleted a lock from XI Lock Overview . Now the status text in SM58 is 'Transaction Recorded' 'Function Module executed' , but still I can not see any message in SXI_MONITOR. Does these messages means IDOC is successfully triggered to XI system. What next I can check ?

Sanjeev.
