As2 Adapter

Hi All,

Can we use Seeburger AS2 Adapter for communicating with XI<->3rd party system?In this case the data posted using AS2 Adapter is not EDI.it can be csv file.

Could you please suggest me on this?

please provide me,if possible links also for AS2 scenarios.

hi harleen

AS2 is mainly used when you want to use EDIFACT message which XI does not reecognise

but if your customer wants to use Xi in file scenario the you may use this

use these blogs to know how to use As2 adapter

note that AS2 is a protocol of transmission.

You can transmit any message in any format (excel, word, edi, text etc) via AS2 protocol.

So if your 3rd party system uses AS2 as its transmission protocol you can use the AS2 adapter.

There is no point in using AS2 communication channel to communicate in excel format. Why don't you use file adpater.

ya we wanted to use file adapter only but clients wants us to go for AS2 communication.Can u tell me ,we can use it or not.If u have some links for as2 scenario,please provide it to me.

Yes, you can if your client supports it.

Are you using Seeburger AS2 adapter? You just have to configure AS2 communication channel. There must be configuration guides available with adapter shipment.
