Server Down time

Dear Team,

My SAP server Was down .Then Some one has up this one.I want to know that When It was down i.e Time/Date. and what Time it was UP ?How I know via SAP GUI

SM21 is your safest bet.

you can also go in tcode FILE and look for file available.log which is usually located at D:\usr\sap\SID\DVEBMGS00\work

Start transaction ST02 - in the upper right of the page you see the start time. You can also check the syslog (SM21).

Thanks Marks for your reply.But ST02 will only show when our database start. But How I know that when my server was down.Only via Log.

Any other thing to know when my server going to Down.

No, ST02 will show you when the INSTANCE was started, not the database.

You should check your Windows event log.

SAP is an application running on top of the operating system, not "integrated" into it.

Hi,

If you have java stack then check dev_server0,dev_dispatcher.

If it is abap stack then check dev_disp, dev_w0 etc etc in the work directory.
