Dear friends,

in sap R3 i have lot of material which needs to be transferred to PPDS. every material has split valuation. there are 9 valuation types for every material. how can this be mapped in ppds as there is no accounting view for a product.

pls get back with ur suggestions.

Hi Sanjeev,

PPDS is not concerned very much with costs, it is only a planning tool. The optimization mostly optimizes resource consumption, and does not seek to minimize cost. Standard Costs are generally irrelevant. Therefore, these data items are not normally sent to APO.
