is it mandatory that the key combination in T vk11 is the same as the organizational data in T va01?

the sitiuation is that i got a message ZXPC is missing

when i try to make an order with new item code.

the message still appeared despite i made maintanence of the condition record for that condition type in VK11 with the new material,knowing that the key combination used is Sales area /plant/Material

We use Key combination for condition record so that if this keys are met successfully in then the condition record will be activly access.

Think a situation where u maintain a condition record with some other organisational unit and u r creating a sales order with another organisation unit then how system will access condtion record because it is made with other organisational unit other than sales order.

morever u can create condtion record with other organistional unit but it will be useless if u r creating sales order with other organisational unit

Hello,

The Key combination in VK11 is depends upon the accesses you have for this condition type. Take the example of PR00, in standard SAP, it has got three key combinations.

1. Customer / Material with release status

2. Pricelist Cat / Currency / Material

3. Material with Release status.

These will be used according to the specific requirements.

In the case of VA01, you need to enter the order type and the sales area. What key combination are you looking for here?

Hi there,

Depends for what condition records / key combination you have defined in the access sequnece condition tables.

In VA01, you will give sales area. But in VK11 it may be based on sales org / plant / material grp.

But as far as organisational data is concerned, yes condition records will be applied for the same details as in sales order.

In the above eg, system will look for the same sales org, plant & material group as in the sales order.

not all u price type need the organizational data. so u can mainten detail price type the organizational data,such as pr00

Hi Amir,

In VK11 we save the condition record for condition type.

Condition type has some keys on which we save our condition record

So while creating sales order in VA01 if we mention same keys on which we save out condition record.

Then only system will determine the condition record other wise not.

Let us consider one example you save condition record who has customer(xyz)/material(123) as key.

Now when you are creating sales order system will fetch the data from condition record if we create sales order with key customer(xyz)/material(123).

Other wise it will not determine the condition record in sales order.
