webdynpro debugging in ce 7.1 sp5

Hi,

When i tried to debug a webdynpro in ce 7.1 sp5 its asking "please enter the credentials of SAP system administrator (<SID>adm)

when i gave administrator and password of administrator is not taking it, <SID>adm user is not created when i installed ce 7.1, do i need to create this user and what should be the roles given to this user. My SID is CE1. so i created ce1adm and gave administrator role and tried it didnt accepted this also. please provide some inputs.

Hi,

Try giving the same user id and password that you use while starting the service from MMC.

While starting the mmc i give OS user id and password, i tried with that too, but didn't solved the problem.

Does any configuration is needed for debugging webdynpro is CE 7.1,Does <SID>adm user gets created while installing CE7.1 automatically.

Hi,

Yes the admin user will get created automatically while installing the CE.It will also ask for the password for that user during installation
