Hi Freinds,
I have a query.
I created a Plant without copying from the standard plant. Now I have to maintain the parameters for plant. So how to maintain them?
Please help me out.
Thanks & Regards

Hello,
Go to SPRO --> Materials Management --> Inventory Management and Physical Inventory --> Plant Paramenters --> Copy the standard SAP plant and rename to your plant. It will copy all the associted settings with it.

Hi,
For Maintaining Plant parameters you can do Customization in Transaction Code OMI8
Path:ProductionMRPPlant Parameter.
Hope it will help you.

IMG-M.M-INVENTORY MANAGEMENT AND PHYSICAL INVENTORY---PLANT PARAMETERS
Here you have to make a lot of R&D
Plant and company code always it is better to copy because a lot tables are associated with it
These two are the valuation sectors in SAP and has a lot of FI related tables associated with it
Always it is better to copy
Sales org,DC etc defining new will not be a problem and also if any errors are there we can easily manage but not so easy wilth plant and company code
In real time all these is done by FI people and MM people
All the best
