Project Settlement Rule

Hi, I want to know if there is any config to change the settlement rule amount to other currency. I notice it is always defaulted to controlling area currency. (try to go to create settlement rule and double click, you will see the default currency there and is not changeable).

Another thing I notice when I do settlement by amount instead of % is that I am allowed to settle amount more that original posting. Is it actually expected?

With the settlement by amount, the amount rule category determines weather the specified amount is to be settled periodically or weather the amount simple represent the upper limit the upper limit for all the settlement. In first case ( i.e periodically ) a negative balance may occur in the object due to teh settlement by amount, while in the second case only the actaul debit is settled periocially maximum.

If your case is first than system is behaving as per expected.
