Hi,

I am unable to start the J2ee engine.

I tried all your suggestions in thread <, but still doesn't work.

The instance 30 never can be started.

I have unintalled my SQL server and J2EE serveral times, but it doesn't work either.

Here is the log:

Hi Jazz,

Thank you so much for your enlightment.

At last, I found the problem is caused by my wrongly maintained password in the secure data.

Thanks,

Selina.

Hi Jazz,

I don't know what do you mean by "Login as <SID>adm" ? Can you elaborate?

First check if all services in services.msc related to MSSQL are started.

Login to your server >> start >> run >> type services.msc

Next, there will be a windows user called <sid>adm where <sid> stands for your sap system ID. Login with that user and take the command prompt and run the command "R3trans -d". It will check if sap is able to connect to the database.

If not, try stopping SAP once again as <sid>adm and restart it. Try these and let us know.

Cheers,

Jazz

Did you check if database is up and running?

Login as <SID>adm and run the following command to check the database connection:

R3trans -d

Jazz
