DP versions

Hi Gurus,

Actually i wanted to know how we can create different versions in DP ? As we all know DP data will be coming from BI and even the version will be there in the cube as well.

So my question is if DP wanted to use different versions , do we need to add this version(000, 001) even in CUBE?

Please let me know

Hi,

Versions can be created in transaction /sapapo/mvm. The version in cube can be the same for loading data to any number of planning area versions. So, you need not add versions in cube. You can have may be version 000 in the cube and load the data to a planning area with versions 001 or 002 or 100 etc...see the screen in /sapapo/tscube.

sometimes you may not create the versions using /SAPAPO/MVM, if so you can try it by using /SAPAPO/VERCREATE
