Lean WM

Hello Forum, I´ve the following escene:

I´ve an storage location whitout WMS. I´ve others storage location whit WM too.

For the storage location whitout WMS I want to activate LEAN WM, because I need to do Outbond deliveries and TO many. As I can´t do that whit trx code vl06p, I want to activate LEAN WM for this storage location.

a) That, like and where I must to form in the material master?

b) Somebody has a guide of implementation of lean wm?

Hi VASCO,

Yes. Its Possible to define both WMS & Lean WM for 2 different Storage Locations under the same Client.

But you should take into consideration the following points.

Create two warehouse no:s & assign it separately to the Plant/SL combination.

You can activate Lean WM in one of the SL & other with WMS.

Also note that When you implement the Warehouse Management System (WMS), you manage goods movements and stock changes in the warehouse at storage bin level.

However, if you implement Lean WM, inventory management takes place solely at storage location level. The system does not update the stock data at storage bin level using the quants.

Thanks SAP FC, your answer is very good.

Now, after I implented lean wm, when I make a TO for outbond delivery, the system shows an error (L3430)

operation anticipated for does not LEAN WM.

Can you help me?

Hi VASCO,

Check you have assigned the Degree of Activation as 1 in your Control Plant/SL Warehouse No: Asssignment for Lean WM in IMG.

If its not there assign the same & check.
