very thanks Gaurav,

My scenario is file-RFC, it works ok, however when I go to R3 to see if it has executed the RFC I see that it has not. in principle my scenario is correct, since a program of R3 I call the RFC passing the same file and if it works. Had thought that the fault messages could help me because they do not get to see the outcome of the RFC

Hi Silvia

Did you tested the payload executing at R/3. if the RFC is providing the expected results. If not then you need to debug the FM with the payload at R/3.

Its always a good practice to have exception raise by FM. make life easier

Thanks

hi Sudhir,

I think you've confused the question of thread is LSO Integration with XI.

I had read in others thread about Fault Messages, but still do not understand how it works, what kind of errors concerns, if is necessary have definied exceptions in function RFC to work well,..

HI Silvia

Fault message is a message type that you can use for Sync messages. Looking at your requirement it will be difficult to fill the fault message type. Moreover fault message can be used to raise exception in BPM etc but it need to be filled with values.

I think you need to raise exceptions from RFC only.

Thanks

Gaurav
