QM in Org. structure

hi guru's

while finalizing organization structure

from QM point of view what parameters to be considered

like minimum how many storage locations or work centers must be there for quality.

please guide

Thats right as per above suggestion.

But you always have the option of defining your inspection section as a different storage location , this helps in keeping a track of the quantity of material that is presently undergoing quality inspection.

Hi,

For implementing QM there is no requirement of additional / specific org. structure. You can use existing org structure of MM / PP. This is because many times QM is implemented after implementing MM & PP, for whic org. structure is present. For work center, you can opt to maintain or not depending upon your requirement. As QM is at plant level, you can use the existing org structure defined for the plant
