Hi Experts,
In Web Application Server (WAS) we have ABAP+JAVA combindly. But in Netweaver Why JAVA and ABAP stacks are separated. What is the difference between WAS and Netweaver?

As said above SAP WAS is a component of mySAP technology platform.
It supports all applications fall under mySAP suite.
As stated above types of WAS. Depending upon the application requirement WAS is implemented.

like mentionend above WAS is the Application Platform of NetWeaver.

And a WAS has 3 different types:
1) WAS ABAP
2) WAS JAVA
3) WAS ABAP + JAVA (like PI)
