I need to configure a rental order process for truck renting company. Please explain the rental contract process and what I need to configure for the rental contact process.

The requirement is we need to create periodic billing every month end for the period completed. They enter the fixed price manually in the contract. The process is Rental contract then invoice. Where can I set the billling dates in the periodic billing plan? What is Horizon?

Whats Horizon in periodic billing plan? Where can we specify the frequency of billing? What is settlement date from and to and how they influence the billing date? Where do we set if we want retrospective invoice creation?

Truck leasing or giving on rent is not normal contract as apart from charging trucks you also going to charge for MILES (This is what normal scenario in this business) Where MILES is assgined to higher level Item i.e. trucks.

For the rental contract do we need to create delivery. Do we have to assign billing type to the contract. Which billing type we use for rental contract.

Hi,

I think so you donu2019t have to activate delivery process.

Truck renting company is a service provider so I for service related process we donu2019t activate delivery process.

You can assign your normal billing type means you can assign F2 to your contract.

Hi there,

Rental contract is like a regular contract but the only difference is you will have periodic billing type assigned to the transaction.
