No control record for Activity type

Hi,

While assigning a service notification to a service order I get the following errror message and was not able to complete my service order.

"No control record for Activity type 1000/130000101/001000 in version 000 / 2009 activity planning/qty planning ".

Can you please let me know the reason behind this error?

Hi,

I think you have not maintained activity prices.

Try with KP26 t.code and maintain activity prices.

Enter version,period and fiscal year, cost center and activity type and press enter, maintain activity prices

Thank you.But the same error comes again.

Also why do we maintain activity types and activity prices and what is the purpose of it?
